I would just like to compliment you on your wonderful food. My mother, sister and I came to stay in Skipton last Friday and booked our evening meal with you. The food was very well presented looked lovely and tasted even better. We all agreed it was the best meal we have had for a long time.
The steaks were cooked to perfection as was everything else. I will certainly be coming again and bringing my husband to enjoy your superb cuisine. Thanks again for a truly lovely meal compliments to the chef.

I feel compelled this morning to comment on our visit last night to Canalside.
What a marvellous experience it was, old fashioned attentive service, superb food and tranquil setting, yes you have certainly achieved a very high standard at Canalside which would be difficult to surpass.

We visited your restaurant on Saturday 4th August, this was not our first visit. However as we had received such excellent service before we decided to take my parents. My Mum is a coeliac and restaurants are not easy to find with a such a huge option of gluten free food readily available and highlighted on the menu! In fact its very rare! We had a superb evening, great music and above all there was food for all of us.
We would make on suggestions an idea you could have gluten free bread avaliable - that would have ticked an extra, extra special service box for us!

We had lunch today(Friday 29th July) Excellent; both service and food in a quality venue. Your staff were extremely efficient, pleasant and friendly. We had a very enjoyable lunch. Hopefully we will receive timely e-mails with regard to forthcoming activities, particularly the Jazz events.
Please remain a non smoking establishment it certainly added to our pleasure.
