21ST - GOOD FRIDAY, "SEAFOOD & SAUVIGNON"
  • Once again, Canalside delivers a delicious 3-course ‘prix fixe’ menu for two. The best in seafood; Turbot, John Dory, Seabass are but just a few, perfected with a glass of our superb Sauvignon Blanc or Cabernet Sauvignon!

22ND, 23RD & 24TH - EASTER LUNCHTIME CARVERY
        
  • Our Canalside carvery is the perfect option for a deliciously satisfying lunch.  A choice of home-cooked Yorkshire dales roasts, including new spring lamb, accompanied by a selection of fresh, seasonal vegetables with traditional homemade Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, and rich red wine sauce… only £6.95 pp

21ST TO 27TH - ST GEORGE'S DAY, "A CELEBRATION OF ENGLAND"
  • Canalside offers some of our favourite homeland dishes from across the counties, prepared to perfection and given our famous “special touch”!  Make time to visit us during the week and sample some of our much loved, regional classic dishes.

3RD, 4TH & 5TH - SKIPTON WATERWAYS FESTIVAL
  • Once again, Canalside is proud to support this fantastic annual event, run entirely by volunteers and friends, we hope to achieve even bigger success than ever with this, the 7th Skipton Waterways Festival.
  • Canalside Head Chef, Daniel O’Donnell, will be taking the stage in the main festival arena, on Sunday 4th May, to demonstrate the simplicity of great homecooked food, in full view of keen spectators and budding Jamie Olivers!  Entry is completely free, however tasting is ‘nearly’ compulsory!
  • For something really spectacular, come down on the evening of Sunday 4th and enjoy the delightful ‘Illuminated Cruise’. Our balcony lounge is the perfect viewing platform to relax after a delicious evening meal.
15TH - VEGETARIAN GOURMET EVENING
    
  • An elaboration of our famous ‘Gourmet Food & Wine’ evenings, 8 courses of exquisite cuisine, perfectly matched with a fantastic wine to compliment and compare... and ALL vegetarian! ...the ‘ultimate’ challenge for any experienced Chef!

9TH TO 29TH - CANALSIDE 2ND ANNUAL LOBSTER FESTIVAL
  • For three weeks, Canalside offers a range of classic lobster themed dishes to treat the taste buds and explore the extravagant!  If you’ve never tried it but always wanted to, this is your perfect chance… the taste is divine!
  • In aid of the National Lobster Hatchery, Canalside will sponsor a lobster for every lobster sold.... and you get to choose the name!
15TH - FATHER'S DAY

9TH TO 25TH - CANALSIDE "FESTIVAL OF ICE-CREAM"
  • Its an ice-cream extravaganza!  The largest selection of homemade ice-cream available from any restaurant in the Yorkshire Dales… Ranging from the exotic to the extreme, the bizarre to the bonkers, the weird to the wonderful!  And all available to try throughout the two week festival… we guarantee you’ll be back for more!
  • Fabulous, homemade ice cream specials... plus, our very own ice cream parlour serving your favourite flavours in a classic cornet!
2ND, 9TH, 16TH, 23RD, 25Th & 30TH - THE BIG SUMMER CANALSIDE BARBECUE
  • Open to all, join us for an enjoyable afternoon sipping rosé and soaking up the Sun on our outdoor patio.  With all the barbecue favourites for you to try, using the finest local produce from reputed butcher – Jackson’s of Cracoe, and all available from 12-6, every Saturday throughout August!

2ND - BURGUNDY NIGHT
    
  • A refined evening of classic French cuisine, with a distinguished selection of Burgundy wines.
  • Dine from a well balanced 6-course meal, including cheese ‘done the French way’! ...and throughout the meal, we will be taking you through some delightful samplings of Burgundy wines, from classic Chablis, to more eminent Chambolle-Musigny.

24TH - CANALSIDE 3RD ANNIVERSARY
  • Come and join the celebrations as we host our spectacular 3rd birthday.

7TH - COPPER DRAGON BEER & SAUSAGE NIGHT
  • John Dolan from Skipton Brewery will be showcasing the full range of Copper Dragon Ales, all available to try on the night with over a dozen different speciality sausages from award winning sausage makers, Jackson’s of Cracoe.

13TH - MURDER MYSTERY EVENING AND DINNER
